Description: Rare Landsknecht Dagger, With tapering double-edged blade of flattened diamond section, iron hilt comprising short down-curved quillons with heart-shaped tips within incised lines and small shell-guard on one side, cushion-shaped pommel cut with fan-shaped flutes and ovals on each side, and one-piece dark horn grip of compressed triangular cushions heightened at each corner with an iron pin, a shim of brass at the base, Origin, German, Date: First Half of the 16th century
