Sticky Fingers ~ The Rolling Stones. Put all Stones together and their age is approximately 200 and something. This has to be one of the most iconic albums ever - based on the tracks and album cover
The Rolling Stones Sticky Fingers, 1970. Cover design by Andy Warhol. The zipper was real and unzipping revealed the underwear shot underneath. Enough about Andy. The album is a classic. Still can't believe I hadn't pinned this before

Eric's 100 Favorite Albums | #95: Nirvana - NEVERMIND (1991) | Link: http://www.theattackzone.com/2011/11/26/favorite-album-95-nirvana-nevermind-1991/
Nirvana burst into the world of music with this album, sufficiently bringing an end to mostly shitty 80s music and ringing in an era of Grunge and Alternative-Rock. This driving, aggressive, yet still musical album went 11x platinum in the US. Sorry for the baby penis on your screen.
Nirvana: Nevermind, 1991. Another classic album cover for a generation-defining album. Stunning. The tragic loss of a genius, far too young.
La idea de la portada del disco 'Nevermind' (1991), se le ocurrió a Kurt Cobain (líder de Nirvana) mientras miraba por televisión un documental sobre el nacimiento de bebes bajo el agua.

The Beatles, Beatles Album, Album Cover, Favorite Album, Revolver Beatle
The Beatles' Revolver album cover. The album includes my favorite Beatle song, Tomorrow Never Knows.
Although it's definitely not the Beatles' best album, "Revolver" is still probably my favorite album. It's not perfect, but it has heart like nothing else. "Eleanor Rigby" might be my favorite Beatles song of all.
The Beatles - For No One (1966) // I am pinning every Beatles song that Paul sang the lead in, for two reasons: (1) for a vocal comparison, and (2) because Paul was my favorite // written by Paul McCartney, recorded May 9, 16, and 19, 1966 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/For_No_One -- one of my favorite Beatles songs because of the french horn solo....

The Beatles – Here, There, and Everywhere. Paul McCartney, John Lennon, and George Martin (Beatles producer) all said this song was one of their favorite Beatles’ song.
Zentangle reminds me of the detail in 60s art...like the "Revolver" Beatles album cover...
1966 -The Beatles - Here, There And Everywhere is a song written by Paul McCartney (credited to Lennon–McCartney), recorded for the Beatles' album Revolver. In his biography Many Years From Now, McCartney said the song is one of his favorites. Beatles' producer George Martin has also mentioned it as one of his favorite McCartney songs. John Lennon reportedly told McCartney it was "The best tune on the album" and said in his 1980 Playboy interview it was "one of my favorite Beatle songs."

For the cover of Wish You Were Here, Rondell wore a business suit over a flame retardant suit and shook Rogers' hand while his clothing was on fire.

For the cover, Rondell wore a business suit over a flame retardant suit and shook Rogers' hand while his clothing was on fire. To protect his head, Rondell wore a wig over a hood. Despite all the precautions, at one point during the shoot, the wind blew in the wrong direction and briefly spread the flames to Rondell's moustache.

The Velvet Underground & Nico (1967)Early copies of the album invited the owner to "Peel slowly and see"; peeling back the banana skin revealed a flesh-colored banana underneath. A special machine was needed to manufacture these covers (one of the causes of the album's delayed release), but MGM paid for costs figuring that any ties to Warhol would boost sales of the album. The original copies of the album with the peel-sticker feature are now rare collector's items.
