For Mother's Day at school I had the kids make voice art, without spending five hundred dollars each! I recorded their voice into Garage band, took a screen shot of the waves (they say "I love you mommy!"), used an exacto knife to cut the waves out, then painted over the top. Time consuming? Yes! But hearing the stories of the moms when they opened their presents and the tears in their eyes when they said thank you was worth all the time in the world! Priceless!
