Firefly squids live in Toyama Bay, Japan and illuminate a blue glow produced by moonlight that has been captured in their outer membranes...I'm pretty sure I've seen either these squid or a jelly fish that glows blue in the Bahamas too.

THE BLUE LIGHTS ON THE SEA COAST ARE GLOWING FIREFLY SQUID ON THE BEACH OF TOYAMA, JAPAN. EACH TENACLE HAS A ORGAN CALLED A PHOTOPHORE, WHICH PRODUCES LIGHT. WHEN FLASHED THESE LIGHTS ATTRACT SMALL FISH, ON WHICH THE SQUID CAN FEED. WOW, MUST BE AN ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL SIGHT......:)
The glowing firefly squid are pushed to the shore's edge by the current while spawning in the bay of Toyama, Japan... Everyone who really knows me also knows how I feel about jellyfish! Ah
