Duomo de Firenze or the Cathedral di Santa Maria del Fiore is the main church in Florence, Italy. Construction started in 1294 and was finally opened in Architectural styles: Gothic Revival, Renaissance, Italian Gothic.
During the war all of the bridges were destroyed (order by Hilter) but he asked that this one be spared due to the art inside. By this time the Italians had already hid all of the art anyway but we still have the bridge!
