Art.com The Dance Foyer at the Opera on the Rue Le Peletier Framed Art Print by Edgar Degas
"The Dance Foyer at the Opera on the Rue Le Peletier" by Edgar Degas (1872) This painting takes me back to my younger days, when I attended ballet class twice a week. In fact, I used to have a silk screen picture of this exact painting (I probably still have it somewhere--I just can't find it!). Degas' ballet class scene brings back fond memories. Degas was a master of anatomy in dancers, and perfectly captures every single ballet position without a hitch.

Gustav Klimt Art :-) I always said I wanted to meet someone who made me feel like the lady in this painting. I found it :-)
Gustav Klimt- There are people out there who don't know this is a famous beautiful painting. I knew such a person and it made me inwardly cry for their ignorant life.

Favorite painting of all time!
This painting is titled, "The Kiss" by Gustav Klimt. Produced in 1907 this beautiful piece of art is oil paint on canvas. Klimt is one of my favorite artists and this has to be one of my favorite pieces by him. I love the intimacy and colors he produced as well as the abstract movement shown in this piece.

Mod Podge his/her face on canvas, paint in realistic arm, then layer on first sheet of color for body, lastly patterns of lines, curls, dots... Could go a bit Klimt with hair. KLIMT IS A FAVE.
