I make writing REPORT CARD COMMENTS a complicated process. I print up a copy of my students' previous report cards, compare grades, get out my behavior records for each student, AR reports, and current grades, and write at least a paragraph's worth of commentary for each student. This, though, seems much MORE SIMPLE!!!

This is great - it is difficult to try and fully explain the special education process to parents and regular Ed teachers. It is complicated and full of red tape not to mention mentally exhausting - and each state/ county may interpret the law differently for their own school districts... This site developed by a school psychologist just about sums it up!

LOVE THIS IDEA: I picked a stick and they never knew who that person was until the end of the day. If that person behaved in line, listened and followed directions in class with few warnings, they got a surprise out of the treasure box and their name went up on the wall of fame..if the mystery person did not behave their name went back into the box or whatever I had and it was never revealed. FREAKING GENIUS!
