"I'm almost always painting something white, blue, or turquoise," Amanda says. Proof: the 1970 piano she painted a soothing gray-blue (Paris Gray by Annie Sloan Chalk Paint) so that it would better blend into the space. Now that the bulk of the home renovation is complete, the family has a new project on the horizon: "A really awesome fort," says Ethan.
