Ocatilla Deset Camp, Frank Lloyd Wright designed this camp for his draftsmen using the desert landscape as inspiration. With sharp angled canvas roofs, Wright wanted the buildings of the camp to appear as a fleet of sails on the desert landscape.

Rogers Corporation was the first high-technology company to open in #chandleraz in 1966. The Chandler plant was Rogers’ first outside of its headquarters in Connecticut. Today, the Chandler plants include the Advanced Materials Circuits and Durel divisions on two sites. While Rogers has scaled back its presence in Chandler, it’s legacy as the city’s first high-tech company has secured its place in Chandler's history.
