This door is probably the most photographed in St Ives, and even has its own Flickr group. The 200 year old door belongs to St Ives Bakery and has been listed by its owners, who were at one time made an offer to put it in the Tate gallery, but as the owner said where would I get another 200 year old door.

A typical door in Cyprus - although there's definitely nothing common or ordinary about this door! (photo by Anne Inzsel)

These tall weathered doors look beautiful surrounded by the bright red flowers.

If you have not already, you owe it to yourself to check this out....straight from the mouth of Preston Ely…..http://burst.to/5WW

What an astounding array of colors -- from violet to rose and even deep purple. Aren't the leaded glass windows beautiful? I wonder why the doors have padlocks on them. The windows have an arched design. Maybe it's a church.

aqua-blue doors sit inside an old stone structure.

This could go on several of my boards. There& that wonderful turquoise blue again and the ancient stone walls. Love those big boulders blocking the door. This has got to be Greece.
