Underworld (2003). Kate Beckinsale, Bill Nighy. Vampires | Werewolves | Action | Horror.
One of my favorite movies. "Underworld" starring Kate Beckinsale (2003)
Action packed vampires vs werewolves story. Special effects are great and the actors are wonderful. Underworld (Widescreen Special Edition) DVD ~ Kate Beckinsale, http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0000VAFO0/ref=cm_sw_r_pi_dp_0.KUpb0A15K8R
We decided to rewatch the Underworld films as we still hadn't seen the last one. The first movie is still all kinds of awesome though I still really dislike the transformation of Scott Speedmen's character at the end. The rest of it is really cool though and the lycan transformations are really neat. 3.5 out of 4 stars
In UNDERWORLD, a dark and Gothic monster action movie, vampires and lycans—an ancient form of werewolf—are at war. While the vampires inhabit a gigantic castle that houses their ancestor’s tombs, the lycans live underground in a dilapidated sewer cave. Both teams are equipped with big guns, and they

Pretty in Pink. 80s movies and Molly Ringwald are two of the greatest things ever.
Pretty in Pink (1986). Great movie!
Pretty in Pink is a 1986 teen comedy classic. Directed by the brillant John Hughes, the movie stars Molly Ringwald, Andrew McCarthy, Jon Cryer and James Spader. The story follows poor, working-class Andie as her dreams come true when the popular rich boy in her class asks her to prom. She must decide between him and her doting childhood sweetheart, Duckie. #PrettyinPink #MollyRingwald #ComingOfAge one of my favorite movies
Pretty In Pink (1986) Working-class misfit Andie thinks her dreams have come true when rich, popular Blane asks her to prom in this coming-of-age classic from John Hughes. Meanwhile, Andie's best friend Duckie pines for her. Molly Ringwald, Jon Cryer, Harry Dean Stanton...5a
Pretty in Pink, 1986 This film, as expected, oozed 1980s Brat Pack nostalgia. I was rather sad to realize that I secretly rooted to have Andie pursue her relationship with Blane, even though I realize all too well the heartache that good-spirited guys like Duckie go through. Molly Ringwald also has this interesting femme fatale demeanor that doesn't go as far as to demand sympathy, which makes the high school experience seem authentic.

My favorite John Hughes movie. Everyone had their own Jake Ryan in high school. Who was yours?
Sixteen Candles (1984) - My all-time favorite movie!
Sixteen Candles is a 1984 American film starring Molly Ringwald, Michael Schoeffling and Anthony Michael Hall. It was written and directed by John Hughes. It's Samantha Baker's sweet sixteen birthday and no one in her family remembers the occasion. She's a typical teen, enduring creepy freshman, spoiled siblings, confused parents and the Big Blonde on campus who stands between her and the boy of her dreams.
Sixteen Candles (1984) probably my favorite 80s movie!
So many quotes. Such a great movie. And I <3 Jake Ryan.

Movie You Know the Most Quotes from: The Breakfast Club... "You see us as you want to see us: In the simplest terms, in the most convenient definitions. But what we found out is that each one of us is a brain... and an athlete... and a basket case... a princess... and a criminal... Sincerly yours, the Breakfast Club."

"The Breakfast Club". I'm not sure what it is with these 1980'es movies and their cult-like status - John Hughes, The Brat Pack and so on. But I do know that it just doesn't cut it for me. I find most of the stories and scenes either bizarre, strange, boring or all of the above. And the way they talk! Did it really sound like that at the time? I feel like these movies have hidden motives and deeper meanings that I'm supposed to find fascinating. But I regret to say that is not the case. <3 <3
The Breakfast Club (1985) One of my favorite movies of all time.
The Breakfast Club (1985) They were five students with nothing in common, faced with spending a Saturday detention together in their high school library. At 7 a.m., they had nothing to say, but by 4 p.m., they had bared their souls to each other and become good friends. Emilio Estevez, Paul Gleason, Anthony Michael Hall, Judd Nelson, Molly Ringwald, Ally Sheedy
THE BREAKFAST CLUB: Directed by John Hughes. With Emilio Estevez, Judd Nelson, Molly Ringwald, Ally Sheedy. Five high school students, all different stereotypes, meet in detention, where they pour their hearts out to each other, and discover how they have a lot more in common than they thought.

Bridesmaids (2011) a romantic comedy directed by Paul Feig and producer Judd Apatow. This movie stars Ellie Kemper, Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, and Melissa McCarthy. A great movie, reminds me of the ladies version to the best friends in The Hangover. I watched this movie so many times, and I am still LOVL. A movie about emotions and what friends go through; anxieties, an engagement, a wedding, fighting to keep your BFF, jealousy, manipulation, and flirtation.
bridesmaids movie, probably one of the funniest movies I have seen in a long time !
Going My Way: Youthful Father Chuck O'Malley led a colorful life of sports, song, and romance before joining the Roman Catholic clergy, but his level gaze and twinkling eyes make it clear that he knows he made the right choice. After joining a parish, O'Malley's worldly knowledge helps him connect with a gang of kids looking for direction and handle the business details of the church-building fund, winning over his aging, conventional superior, Father Fitzgibbon.

"Going My Way." 1944 Academy Award for Best Picture. A sweet, sentimental, feel good film about a young Catholic priest (Bing Crosby) who helps out an older priest and his financially strapped parish. Barry Fitzgerald does a great portrayal of the aging Father Fitzgibbon, and Rise Stevens plays (what else) an opera singer. Nice enough, but how did this film beat out “Double Indemnity” and “Gaslight” for Best Picture?
Going My Way . One of the best films ever made. "...or would you rather be a mule?" One of my all time favorite movies. I still cry at the end. lol
Going My Way (1944) - A must see for Movies at Christmas Time!

Whatever happened to chivalry? Does it only exist in 80's movies? I want John Cusack holding a boombox outside my window. I wanna ride off on a lawnmower with Patrick Dempsey. I want Jake from Sixteen Candles waiting outside the church for me. I want Judd Nelson thrusting his fist into the air because he knows he got me. Just once I want my life to be like an 80's movie, preferably one with a really awesome musical number for no apparent reason. But no, no, John Hughes did not direct my life.
LOVE this Movie!

Great movies based on Stephen King novels don't come around very often, but "The Green Mile" (1999) faithfully recreates the horror master's wonderful story of John Coffey, a prisoner wrongly convicted of the murder of two young girls. Tom Hanks is amazing as the warden of the prison where Coffey awaits execution. A magical and unforgettable screen experience.

Love Comes Softly, 2002, vol 1 in Love Comes Softly series by Janette Oke, with Katherine Heigl and Dale Midkiff
Janette Oke's 'Love Comes Softly' books and Hallmark movies. Great family movies and Christian based stories. An amazing series
Love Comes Softly is a 2003 Christian drama television movie set in the 19th century, based on a series of books by Janette Oke. It originally aired on Hallmark Channel in 2003. It was directed by Michael Landon Jr., and stars Katherine Heigl as a young woman named Marty Claridge. A young woman (Heigl) on her way to a new life in the 1800's suddenly finds herself a widow. Now she must live with a recently widowed young man (Dale Midkiff) and his daughter. Can any of them find love again?
Love Comes Softly: I've watched about 3 or 4 of these film adaptations of Janette Oke's Love Comes Softly book series but this first one is my favorite. <3 Yes, I have a soft spot for Katherine Heigl but this first story always seemed to be the most genuine and heartfelt.
