I split my batter in half and the first set turned out brilliantly (after 4 sets of tests to determine that 10 minutes at 330 was the magic number for my stove.) Then I tried adding some food coloring paste to the other half. It was probably a gram of coloring and I liked the aesthetic result, but after the same amount of cooking time, the cookies were significantly soggier.
