Pistachio Fruit Salad: 1 3-oz. box instant Pistachio pudding mix; 1 8-oz. carton Cool Whip; 1 large can crushed pineapple, undrained; 1/2 to 1 cup chopped pecans or pistachios; Mini Marshmellows. Preparation: In a bowl, combine pudding mix and pineapple (with juice), nuts and marshmellows mix & refridgerate. Yum.
Watergate Salad: I can (20oz.) crushed pineapple in juice, undrained, 1 pkg. (3.4 oz) jello pistachio instant pudding, 1 cup marshmallows, 1/2 cup chopped pecans, 1 1/2 cups thawed cool whip. mix 1st 4 ingredients in large bowl. Stir in cool whip and refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving
Mandarin Orange Salad | You can make this healthier by choosing low/no sugar instant pudding mix and cool whip, and fresh mandarins. I particularly like the whipped cool whip for my salad as per the original. Try it a few times to see what suits you best.
