too sexy.

A sleek little guy. At $159, it's nylon, but very slender. Kind of nice. Thoughts?

This looks like the Blade 24 from Arcteryx. I have the Blades 21, 24 and 30 with the 24 optimal size for ultralite travel. I've traveled to Europe extensively on business with only this bag for 1-2 weeks each time. It is phenomenal - great sleeve for your laptop and nice pocket configuration. To make this work as your only bag you need to go with clothing you can wash and rotate, Eagle Creek packers and small devices.

This is a nice recommendation. For only $105, pretty nice, eh?

Wow - no one likes this one? I really like it.

Red and black. $180 (@webby2001 recommended this)

I like the Tom Bihn bags. Well made, practical and comfortable. They're not flashy. They're all business and they're good at what they do.

I have one of Tom Bihn bags - they are bomb proof.

Biker-ish. $70

This one's nice. $170 .

The black and browns will work with nearly any outfit.

Love the outside pockets: handy for cell phone, pen, business cards, so many things you might need quick!

Love the outside pockets for putting cords and chargers

Nice bag - but not as stylish as some of the others. This one feels like more of a traditional bag.

  • Ademola Abimbola

Looks like a nice rugged bag. I can see myself carrying something like this.

I almost like this bag. It's $85, so totally reasonable, but there's something about it that looks "fat" or "puffy." It's like the Birkenstock of bags, only not made out of cork. Know what I mean? What do you think?

  • Shane Hudson

I would go for this one... it looks the most practical and comfortable in my opinion.

    Practical and comfortable. Got it!

That is how Sandie from New Milford, New Jersey describes her Birkenstocks.

This might be a front-runner for me. I like it a lot, style wise. Still cordura/nylon and pricey-ish at $180 for nylon, but full of details.

A Soyuz made in China. Eh. Seems a little tall too.

    Love this bag's design

Kind of kiddish again, this is a skate/messenger bag style, and at $220, it's a bit pricey for Incase. What do you think?

    My favorite!! LOVE the wheels!!!!

Left to my own devices, I'd consider getting this one. It's $80 and I can get different colors, and I know the company's product well. But it doesn't exactly scream grown-up to me. You?

I have this bag. I'm not entirely pleased with it. Great construction though. There isn't a close-able exterior pocket for easy access to your phone or wallet. The way that the interior zippered pocket is elevated in the middle of the bag is also somewhat awkward. Casual looking as well - I'm not sure that's what you're going for there.

I have the Timbuk2 Commute 2 and love it. It fits everything. Only downside is it kinda clicks when you walk when it's really full.

  • Peter Anderson

I've got a Timbuk2 bag that I got about 12 or 13 years ago, and it's still my main bag. It's been on several trips to Europe as well as being an every day bag for work. Yes, the colors are bright, but it's a great bag! I just recently bought a second Timbuk2 bag for my laptop and it's just as well constructed. To top it off I got a sleeve for my Kindle. Can you tell I love Timbuk2 bags?

This is probably the nerdiest of the bunch. It's nylon and by Incase. But I like the sling design. Kind of an "almost a backpack" design. What say you? ( $90)

Yep - I like the compactness too - I'm a transit commuter, so it'd be my choice -

Love this - it looks light and compact

Go the other way. This is ultra simple and just a sleeve and only $40.

  • Jacqueline Abernathy
    Jacqueline Abernathy

I like this one...not as convenient (i.e. no sleeve) but very simple, which I like.

Stylish and modern at the same time, this is more of a premium style, at $325.

I vote for this one. Stylish and functional.

At $60, this is affordable and stylish. I happen to like the colors, though they're not for everyone.

You had me at "orange." I love it!

It's a minimalist style for $285.

Off all the bags I've seen here, this is certainly my favourite. There's just something about it that really appeals to me.
