The Uncle Remus teddy bear was made in America in A special sewing procedure was used for the Uncle Remus bears’ eyes that made them hold their looks and not loosen or fall out. Uncle Remus featured early dressed bears, who wore boots, as well.

This is a steiff bear pre 1912 based on the button and the size of the button. He is about 16" standing and has wear. Needs a bath, but dosen't seam to have any tears. His arms all move. He is also well stuffed and has something moving on the inside so i can't tell what it is. He was found with a picture of his owner which is included. | eBay!
