Funeral of President John F. Kennedy, Nov 25, 1963. To pay respect, 800,000 lined streets to watch coffin's procession. The procession included a caparisoned horse - a riderless horse with boots facing backwards in the saddle.
Quentin Roosevelt, youngest son of Theodore Roosevelt, and one of his "White House Gang" playmates, Roswell Pinckney, 1902. Pinckney was the son of a White House steward. The "White House Gang" were known for their mischievous childhood pranks. Quentin Roosevelt later joined the Army Air Service and was killed during combat in WWI.
Bruton parish church, Williamsburg, VA - the oldest church in the United States. Many of the founding fathers worshiped here. The feeling of history you get when you go inside this church is something I am not able to express satisfactorily. Let's just say it's awesome!!
