LEGO Word Family Sorting ~ Sort words written on DUPLO LEGO bricks to form word families. Then encourage youngsters to read and write the word family lists. You could also do this with equivalent fractions/decimals/percents. make a tower of equivalents!
Use the cups as a visual way for child to work on alphabetical order or other language sequencing tasks. Write words on each cup, and stack them in alphabetical order. -just styrofoam cups and a marker
Scrabble Recording Sheet With Tiles- Daily 5 Word Work; I'll use this as a warm-up. Just use Spanish characters & have students use Spanish words. It would move a lot faster than a full game, and would encourage participation.
