This is a Caucasian Ovcharka (rus. shepard) one of the largest dog breeds in the world. Also one of the top guard dogs. Used in Northern Ossetia (southern Russian republic near Georgia and Chenya) as a frontier guard dog. Adult Caucasian Ovcharka breeds are known to take down adult bears. Undyingly loyal to their master. This is probably a five to seven month old puppy.
