"After reading the book jacket, the prologue, the entire text and the afterwards, I am going to recommend this book to everyone. THIS IS NOT A STEPHEN KING HORROR THRILLER. Though it might be considered Sci-Fi, it really is all in all, a great piece of fiction by one of the greatest writers of his generation", quote by Adam Knight , this IS going to be next!
I've never read a Stephen King book before. Thought I'd make this one, about a man who time travels to stop Kennedy's assassination, my first.
Book Review of 11/22/63, by Stephen King. #stephenking #112263 #jfk #assassination #november221963 #1963 #1960s #60s #theshining #carrie #salemslot #thestand #dallas #texas #lbj #lyndonbjohnson #jackieo #jackieonasis #jackie #johnfkennedy #kennedy #president #timetravel #novel #books #review
A must read. Not a typical Stephen King. More history, than horror. One of my favorite books for a long time.
I'm not generally a Stephen King fan, but this book is well worth reading for those who lived through that fateful year.

Book Club pick #1:Little Bee by Chris Cleave Great choice for a book club, lots of angles to explore. Not a great read while vacationing on a beach ;) Sarah Summers is enjoying a holiday on a Nigerian beach when a young girl named Little Bee crashes irrevocably into her life. All it takes is a brief and horrifying moment of crisis - a terrifying scene that no reader will forget.

The Paris Wife by Paula McLain. It's about Ernest Hemingway's first wife Hadley Richardson. It is historical fiction from Hadley's point of view about her relationship with the now famous author.

Hasn't neuroscience been a wonderful advocate for music education!
This Is Your Brain On Music: The Science of a Human Obsession by Daniel Levitin
A wonderful piece of historical fiction by a first-time author. She writes through the eyes of two narrators, one a young Irish girl, an indentured servant, and the other, a young female slave, on a plantation in Virginia at the turn of the 18th century. I loved the book and it's characters that live on after the book is closed.

Diane Keaton Memoir
Worth Reading, Memoirs, Dust Jackets, Book Worth, Dianekeaton, Dust Covers, Book Jackets, Diane Keaton, Dust Wrappers
Keaton presents her debut memoir as "the story of a girl whose wishes came true because of her mother." Her next boQok, "offering her perspective on beauty and how that's changed over time," will be out in 2013. Can't wait. Meanwhile, this insightful and charming account of her youthful adventures with lovers and mentors (Woody, Al, and Warren) has us hooked. #dianekeaton More deep-dish reads at http://www.goodhousekeeping.com/family/blogs-books/book-recommendations-0512#slide-1

It was an amazing feeling when I realized that I had graduated from college, and I could finally read whatever I wanted to read whenever I wanted to read it. :)
The feeling of finally reading that book you've been meaning to read. Ahhh . . . when school is finally done:)
Reading Quote "Finally reading for your own pleasure, in places quiet or loud, in relative comfort, preferably without interruption, the book you've been meaning to read for months (perhaps years), and which has been on your shelf, waiting for you to have time."
Story of my life trying to make time for pleasure reading in grad school!!
