Garlic Rubbed Roasted Cabbage Steaks I saw this a couple of weeks ago but didn't pin it so when I got ready to make it I couldn't find how they did it. My version was the cabbage steaks, salt/pepper and I ended up putting a dab of butter because I was out of Olive Oil. OMG it was the best cabbage we've ever had. My husband ate nearly the entire head.
Garlic Rubbed Roasted Cabbage Steaks - Slice cabbage 3/4 inch thick rub with olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic. Roast at 450 for about 30 minutes flipping half way through.
Garlic Rubbed Roasted Cabbage Steaks Recipe - These were very good. If you make them 1 inch, you really need the full hour. I think they would be good cut thinner and used as a side dish. I had them with kielbasa and sweet potatoes and they rounded out the meal well. Some of the outer leaves started to fall off, but I just sort of wound them back around. Especially good right out of the oven, with the crispy parts around the edges of the leaves.

Spinach burgers.. 1 bag thawed & well drained chopp spinach 2 egg whites 1 whole egg 1/4 c diced onion 1/2 c shredded cheese 1/2 c bread crumbs 1 tsp red pepper flakes 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp garlic powder Mix well - form patties or balls - heat in skillet with cooking spray - 4 to 6 min. Low Carb Roasted cauliflower 1 cauliflower Olive oil Sea salt n pepper 1onion, finely chopped 1 15 oz chopped tomatoes Glug of red wine vinegar & balsamic vinegar 1 tsp splenda 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped chilli powder
One of my FAVE cauliflower recipes!! Roasted Cauliflower with Chopped Tomato, Chili Powder, Red Wine Vinegar, Balsamic Vinegar, and Garlic
roasted cauliflower 1 cauliflower Olive oil Sea salt and pepper 1 onion, finely chopped 1 x 400g (15 oz) tin of chopped tomatoes Glug of red wine vinegar Glug of balsamic vinegar 2 or 3 teaspoons of sugar 3 fat cloves of garlic, finely chopped Good pinch of chilli powder Preheat the oven to (400 F). Core, trim and break the cauliflower into florets Arrange in a single layer Toss with 2 tablespoons of oil, 1 teaspoon of salt and loads of pepper roast, turning twice, for 30 minutes. Fry the onion in a little oil until soft. Add the tomatoes, juice and all, followed by a glug of each vinegar, the sugar and some salt. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10-15 minutes, until reduced to about a cup. 5 minutes before the cauliflower is ready, heat a splash of oil in a large frying pan over a medium heat. Add the garlic, and cook for a minute or two - don't let it burn. Pour in the tomato sauce and cook, stirring often, for a few minutes. Add the chilli powder to taste and, when ready, tip the cauliflower florets into the pan. Toss over and over, making sure they are well coated in the sauce. Eat hot.
