Our client inherited one of these chairs from her Grandfather. She found an near-identical companion chair on Etsy. Our client sent us new legs and we stained them to a dark Walnut shade. The textile is Maharam's affordable workhorse, Messenger in Turf. Look at those deep channel tufts and the gorgeous green. Wow!
A client purchased this vintage pair from our Annex inventory. Theses were a real diamond in the rough -- all hidden under a dated floral textile. This is one of those pairs that's very well built, but the design is not one of the more highly-sought after vintage styles. The most exciting part of this redo is that our clients brought this pair back to life and made a real investment in them. Now they're reupholstered in a textile from the high-end American furniture company, BDDW, and ready for
We sourced, refinished and reupholstered this lovely traditional set of 10 dining chairs for Bergdorf Goodman's homewares department. The chairs will be placed around a gorgeous dining table in the china department. The textiles are Maxwell Fabrics's Tetra in Silver with Fabricut's extraordinary Brushstroke Velvet in Silverlake on the chair backs.
This Brooklyn client has a special place in her heart for the ocean, as she was a chef on the sea for many years! She chose Katie Ridder's beautiful print, Beetlecat in Apricot for the cushions accented by Mayer Fabrics's lovely blue solid, Swank in Eucalyptus, on the frame. Such an exciting redo -- it's a striking, personal & completely unique lounge set -- we live for this kind of project!
This is an exciting client choice, and these are two of our favorite textiles. On the chair backs is a new find, a woven called Tribal in Black by Kufri Life. On the front of the chairs is Eskayel's gorgeous print, Dynasty in Indigo. This is exactly the size and style of chair that can take on this much pattern. We like to think that accent chairs can be used as boldly as small accent pieces like pillows, throws or objects.
