MIGUEL NAJDORF, 1973.  The NAJDORF VARIATION of the SICILIAN DEFENSE is one of the most respected and deeply studied of all chess openings. Modern Chess Openings (a/k/a “the bible of chess”) calls it the “Cadillac”, or “Rolls Royce”, of chess openings. (I play it exclusively whenever possible.)  The opening is named after the Polish-Argentine GM Miguel Najdorf.
