DIY calm down jars. I have made these with groups of children with ages ranging from 5 to 12 years. Letting the kids choose 2 different colors of glitter (esp if it they are dif sizes) gives them choices & makes these turn out looking very cool!
Boredom out the window! Bored-Things making this! And Allie and I are going to make a prayer bucket of sticks like my mom has...but we're gonna put faces on the tops of the sticks so the kids can see who they're praying for too:)
DIY Galaxy Glow Jar, Hold the Galaxy in your hands
Activities in 8 categories for various age groups will come to the rescue when the kids start in on the "i'm boooreed!" or if you just need them occupied for a few minutes. A great way to provide a structured activity that you can do with them or let them try out on their own.
this isn't a pic of my legend but i had one just like this. a friend recommended this idea to me. what a time and energy saver and it made it so much easier for movers when they brought boxes in. i also hung a sign on each rooms door with that color of duct tape on it, as they wouldn't know kids bedrooms one from the other.
