Chicken Lo Mein. Make sure the chicken is brine/broth-free. Skip the sugar. Use white vinegar instead of rice wine vinegar. Use safe bouillon instead of chicken broth (or you own homemade chicken broth). Use ginger spice instead of fresh ginger root (I actually used garam masala--other asian spices might work well instead of ginger). Feel free to omit the green onions if you don't like them. I usually half the recipe.
The Garden Grazer: Spinach + Tomato Quesadilla with Pesto. Sometimes I see a recipe like this and I think it sounds awesome. Then I eat it and it's disgusting. To make this fructose free: skip the tomato and make sure your tortilla is fructose-free (flour and corn tortillas would be your best bet).
