Please meet our resident library cat, TLC. TLC is short for "Top Library Cat" and his name fits him well. TLC lives here at the library and during the winter months, can usually be found soundly sleeping in front of our fireplace.

He’s a big fan of Lillian Jackson Braun and all books on cats and fish. The library is lucky enough to have a fireplace, where TLC camps out during the chilly winter months.

Addison, the Library Cat

Addison lives at the Nash Library on the campus of the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Addison is more than just a library cat. She also is a fundraiser for Friends With Four Paws, an Oklahoma shelter for adoptable pets.

Waldo, 2, perches atop a stack of books at the Ocean Shores Library, near patron Patricia Iceberg. The Grays Harbor County library adopted its first cat in 1999, following a growing trend across the country. "I couldn't imagine a library without them," says one Ocean Shores fan of the library's two cats.

This is Waldo from the Ocean Shores Library, Grays Harbor County in Washington State.
