Put 2 cups of raw pinto beans in bottom of crock pot. Add can of rotel and diced green chilies. Mix in cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, minced onion, salt and pepper. Place roast on top, and season the same way. Pour enough water to cover the ingredients and half of roast. (May need to add more while cooking) Cook on high until roast falls apart. Then turn on low & let the spices simmer for a bit! Soooo easy & delicious!!
My daughter in law introduced me to this simple, light, and delicious recipe! I tried it with spinach and cheese stuffed ravioli (frozen) and it was wonderful and only required 4 hours cooking time on medium.
Beef Tips in Mushroom Sauce Crock Pot Recipe-LOVED this. So easy. The sprite was a secret ingredient! We served it over egg noodles and thickened the sauce with cornstarch at the end of cooking. EASY too!
CROCK POT Asian Pork Chops! I just made these today. It came out amazing. Recipe would definitely work with chicken/beef. Mix 1/2 cup soy sauce (I used Lite), 1/2 ketchup. 1/2 cup light brown sugar, 2 cloves minced garlic, and black pepper to taste. Put meat in the crock pot (I used 2.5 pounds boneless pork chops because thats what was already thawed). Pour the sauce mixture over the meat, cook on low for about 5 hours, and the meat is tender and moist. I have outdone myself. Delicious. -K
