John Wooden, America's favorite coach and known as "The Wizard of Westwood." Wooden led UCLA to 10 NCAA national championships. My favorite quote from him was: "Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are."
Tim Tebow of the Denver Broncos. Love him or hate him, I admire his faith and his ability to stand his ground. "How much greater will it feel when we get to heaven and Jesus takes off His headset, opens up His arms, gives us a big hug, and says, ‘Atta boy, Great job. You finished. I love you.”
Jeremy Lin of the New York Knicks. I admire his faith and humility. He says, "If you look back at my story, it doesn't matter where you look, but God's fingerprints are all over the place, where there's been a lot of things that had to happen that I just couldn't control. And you could try to call it coincidence, but at the end of the day there's 20, 30 things, when you combine them all, that had to happen at the right time for me to be here. So that's why I call it a miracle."
