Summer Writer's Notebooks Entries

My students roll up with me, and they are required to keep a summer notebook of entries. I require ten 10-minute free-writes that document things that happened during summer, or things they thought about and learned over the summer. Each year, I give prizes to the best summer notebooks from my kids. Here are photos of some of those winners.
