Homemade bean bags. Cute & easy. Cut 5 1/2 inch squares (feel free to alter the size). Pin right sides together. Zigzag AND straight stitch (to ensure safe playing), but leave a 2 inch opening on one side (for turning and filling). Finally, turn right side out, fill 1/2 way with dry beans, lentils, corn, or peas (I used split peas), and stitch to close the opening. I'm a beginning sewer, and it took me 1 hour, start to finish, to make 8 bean bags. Such a fun and timeless toy. Happy crafting!
