Beef-Broccoli Asian noodles -- seriously one of our favorites, spicy! Changes: dice onion, and cook first and longer to make more caramelized and tender. Use 1 Tbsp regular soy sauce, 2 Tbsp low-sodium; use half the amount of sugar listed. ALWAYS use linguini rather than spaghetti (holds sauce better), and NEVER use bottled garlic or ginger (trust me). Easily made into great vegetarian dish.
Daigoji Pagoda and Cherry Blossom. Daigoji is a large temple complex in Kyoto, Japan. It contains 18 designated national treasures. This pagoda was built in 951 and is the oldest surviving building in Kyoto having survived the Onin War in the 1400s.
