Twisted hair + straightener = loose curls. This works SO well. I've been trying it out these past few days. Just twist up all your hair really tight, hold it at the end, go over it with a straightener a few times, tighten the twist, go over it again, straighten the end of the twist, then comb it all out with your fingers and spray with a little hairspray. TADA. It looks so pretty and literally takes 30 seconds or less. :)
Split and braid your hair into two sections and tie with a rubberband. Twist the braid away from your face and then twist the flat iron onto your hair in the same direction your hair is twisted. Do not touch rubberband or else you will get that weird crease. Repeat this process twice! After hair is cooled, then take them out and run your fingers through the braid. Saw this on Rachel Ray Show. It gives you nice beachy waves!
"Gorgeous Soft Waves with No Heat"... Here’s a easy hair trick I’ve been using for years. This simple hair trick requires no heat or products, but is a great way to enhance your curls/waves and eliminate frizz. Scroll down to see instructions and tips on how it can even work for straight hair! Dry your hair with a dryer a bit before twisting.
