Although rimming glasses with sugar/salt/etc is usually reserved for alcoholic drinks, this idea with nonpareils would be so fun at a birthday party with just some punch! I think kids would love it and I know adults would too. I even have red, white, and blue nonpareils in my sprinkle drawer that we could use for the 4th of July. You are going to need something a little stronger than lemon or lime juice to the the candy to stick, so I would suggest light corn syrup.

Panera's Mac & Cheese Copycat Recipe Panera’s Stove Top Mac and Cheese source: Panera Bread Ingredients: 16 oz pipette pasta or other small pasta shapes 4 tbsp unsalted butter 1/3 cup all-purpose flour 2 1/2 cups milk, heavy cream, or half-and-half 4 oz white American cheese, chopped or torn into pieces 8 oz extra sharp white Vermont cheddar, shredded 2 tsp – 1 tbsp Dijon mustard (adjust according to your tastes) 1 tsp Kosher salt 1/4 tsp hot sauce (like Frank’s) Instructions: In a large stockpot, cook pasta according to package directions. Drain well. While the pasta cooks, melt the butter in a 4-quart sauce pan over medium heat. When the butter has melted and has started to bubble, whisk in the flour; cook for 1 1/2 minutes whisking constantly. Gradually whisk in the milk until no lumps remain. Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook milk mixture, whisking frequently, until it thickens and bubbles, about 8 minutes. Remove sauce pan from the heat and by the handful, stir in the cheeses allowing all of the cheese to melt into the sauce before adding more. Stir in the mustard, salt, and hot sauce. Return the sauce pan to the heat and stir in the pasta. Be sure to stir up the sauce from the bottom of the sauce pan and thoroughly coat all of the pasta with sauce. Cook for 1-2 minutes over medium-low heat until heated through. Serve hot in bowls with spoons.

Mini Apple Pies This recipe makes 24 mini pies but you could easily halve it to make 12. Start by cutting up eight cups of apples into small 1/2in bits. Mix the apples with:12 tablespoons of flour 1 1/2c of sugar 4 heaping teaspoons of cinnamon 1/4-1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg (depending on how much you like nutmeg...you could also leave it out) You will also need: 4 tablespoons of chilled butter cut into 24 equal portions. two boxes of pilsbury pie crusts (four chilled NOT frozen crusts) Make sure you stir everything around getting the apples nice and coated. Unroll your first pie crust and cut several circles out. Continue this until you have enough crusts.I found that a wide mouth mason jar ring worked perfectly.Line each cup of your muffin tin with a tiny pie crust. I found that pinching the edge of the dough around the top edge of the tin and making a hammock of sorts worked really well. You can then gently fill the crusts with your apple mixture and push the crusts down the rest of the way. You should be able to fill until slightly mounded. Then take your equally divided butter... and put a dab on each pie. Cover as desired with left over dough. Brush with melted butter and bake at 400 for 18 to 22 minutes. I started checking in on mine at 10 minutes and checked every two until they were perfect.

Crock Pot Potato Soup Slow Cooker Baked Potato Soup Ingredients: •5 pounds russet potatoes, washed but NOT peeled. Diced into 1/2 inch(ish) cubes •1 medium/large yellow onion, diced •10 cloves of garlic, minced (if you use jarred, it's a 5 teaspoon equivalent) •64 ounces (8 cups) chicken stock or broth •16 oz cream cheese, softened (I use low fat) •1 tablespoon seasoned salt (I use Aunt Cora's Soulful Seasoning) •optional garnishes: crumbled bacon, shredded cheese, green onions Slow Cooker Baked Potato Soup Directions: 1.Add potatoes, onion, garlic, seasoning, and chicken stock to slow cooker. 2.Cook on high for 6 hours or low for 10 hours. 3.Add the softened cream cheese and puree soup with an immersion blender until the cheese is incorporated and about half the soup is blended. (Alternately you could remove half the soup and the cream cheese to an upright blender, then re-incorporate). 4.Stir well, top with your choice of garnishes & enjoy!

Crispy Cheddar Chicken Recipe: Time: 1 hour (15 min prep + 45 min baking) Serves: Approximately 7 Ingredients: (Chicken) - 4 large chicken breasts - 2 sleeves Ritz crackers - 1/4 teaspoon of salt - 1/2 cup of milk - 3 cups of grated cheddar cheese - 1 teaspoon of dried parsley (Sauce) - 10 ounce cream of chicken soup - 2 Tablespoons of sour cream - 2 Tablespoons of butter 1. Cut each chicken breast into 3 large chunks. 2. In a small good processor grind up the ritz crackers. 3. Pour the milk, cheese, and cracker crumbs into 3 separate small pans. Toss the 1/4 teaspoon of salt and 1/8 of a teaspoon into the cracker crumbs & stir the mixture around to combine. 4. Dip each piece of chicken into the milk 5. Then dip each piece into the cheese. Press the cheese into the chicken with your fingers. Some of it will fall off when you add it to the cracker crumbs, don't worry about it. 6. Press the cheesy chicken into the cracker crumbs & press it in. By the time you are coating the last piece of chicken, the dish you are using for the crumbs will be full of cheese. Don't let it get you down. Once the cheese melts in the oven it will adhere nicely to the crumbs & the crackers. 7. Spray a 9x13 pan with cooking spray & lay the chicken inside the pan. 8. Sprinkle the dried parsley over the chicken. 9. Cover the pan with tin foil & bake at 400 degrees for 35 minutes. Remove the tin foil, bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the edges of the chicken are golden brown & crispy. 10. Into a medium sized saucepan combine the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, & butter with a whisk. Stir it over medium high heat until the sauce is nice & hot. Serve over the chicken. ENJOY! Dinner tonight!! REVIEW: Found it on Pinterest and made it. Baked Crispy Cheddar Chicken - This recipe is definitely a keeper. My husband said, "I love it!" The only thing I did differently from the recipe was to add more sour cream to the sauce. So, go ahead and pin it and then make it!

Then place in a pan, cover with foil and bake for 35 minutes at 400 - So crispy and delicious!! Sauce: Mix Cream of Chicken, Sour Cream, and Butter in a sauce pan over medium/high heat.
