Slow-Cooked Ham in Cider Gravy~T~ Couldn't be easier. Just throw the ham in the crockpot and cover with unsweetened apple cider and maple syrup. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Thicken the gravy in a sauce pan with a cornstarch and water. This does not use a pre- cooked ham.

This is an absolutely perfect cake that takes very little effort to make. No icing, no topping, nothing else is necessary at all. It is reminiscent to of a coffeecake in texture, but much lighter than the typical heavy version.
