The Verdon Gorge, in south-eastern France, is a river canyon that is often considered to be one of Europe's most beautiful. It is about 25 kilometres long and up to 700 metres deep. It's now on my bucket list.
Pamukkale, meaning “cotton castle” in Turkish, is a natural site in Denizli Province in southwestern Turkey. The city contains hot springs and travertines, terraces of carbonate minerals left by the flowing water.
This is a picture of the Hindu Temple Shiv Mandir in Bangalore, India -- a statue of Lord Shiva. Shiva is The Lord of destruction in Hinduism but also possesses the typical Hindu beliefs; some of which, are close to my heart.
