Add 3 ½ cups cold purified water. Set the lid on top without pressing the plunger. Let mixture sit at room temperature for 18-24 hours. Press coffee, pour ½ cup into a glass with ice, 2 tablespoon simple syrup, 2 tablespoon Irish whiskey.
