Daylilies by Arlow Burdette (A.B.) Stout. American botanist, was born March 10, 1876 in Ohio. He would become renown for his work in hybridizing daylilies; in recognition of his work, the American Hemerocallis Society created the Stout Award in his honor in 1950.
