Our first 'brainy book' is Thinking Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman - an absorbing study of the profits and pitfalls of intuitive thinking, now in Penguin paperback. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniel_Kahneman (Illustration by Daniel Plunkert) #brainybk
Thinking, Fast and Slow -- the book deals with the art and science of decision-making, written by Novel Prize winner Daniel Kahneman. Two sides of your brain at work (well, more like war!). Decisions, decisions...

Thinking, Fast and Slow: “Thinking, Fast and Slow” - Psychologist and 2002 Nobel Prize winner Prof. Daniel Kahneman’s idea of two systems of thinking - the automatic (system 1) and reflective (system 2). || Drawfour Translation ---> We are all far more irrational than we think we are.

Thinking, Fast and Slow — By Daniel Kahneman — Book Review - NYTimes.com“The pleasure we found in working together made us exceptionally patient; it is much easier to strive for perfection when you are never bored.”
Thinking, Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman is a book about the way we think. Dyer et. al. (2011) talks about how innovators think differently - they are willing to focus their time and energy on pursuing new ideas and encouraging everyone in the organization or company to do the same. This book gets into discussion of our describing the fast, intuitive and emotional parts as well as the slower, more deliberative and more logical pieces. This would pair nicely with what we are reading now to be able to consider the different ways that an innovators brain works.

Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson ($8.46) http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B004W2UBYW/hpb2-20/ASIN/B004W2UBYW This book is a biography of Steve Jobs the founder of apple by Walter Isaacson. - I think most people who may not fully understand a product or its technology will still be able to get the idea of its importance in the scheme of the story. - I would highly recommend this book to anyone as it is detailed but well written and a great read.
I just finished reading Steve Jobs' biography by Walter Isaacson. While I've always been a fan of so many of his products, I hardly knew anything about his career and private life. This book is not only interesting for people interested in Macintosh, iPod, iPhone, iPad, and everything else, it is also a must-read for people interested in technology. It's worth reading if you want to find out, how iGod Steve Jobs really was, and I assure you, you will be surprised.
