Factory Records :: A Personal Collection / I decided it might be in some way satisfying to photograph my Factory vinyl collection, while recently writing a post on the direct influence of album design upon the music I collected from the 1980s onwards. Factory artists must've had it good, I used to think back in the day, when these sleeves would find their way over into the US import bins inside scuffed plastic liner bags, teasing us with the promise of their design excellence and quite often, the music too.
