Here’s a simple open-ended building activity for kids of all ages – Colored craft sticks, wooden cubes, and small plastic cups! Simple materials, and yet we have been having a blast building all kinds of amazing structures with them.
Create each child's name on computer and put inside a sheet protector. When making each name, make the first letter green (green means go) and the last letter red (for stop). Provide lots of capital and lowercase letters to manipulate.
Primary level science station for magnets. "Is it magnetic?" This sorting science station is appropriate for pre-k, kindergarten, primary grades, or preschool. With younger children be careful to ensure items size isn't a choking hazard.
