How cool is this! Grow plants inside of a baseball card holder thingy. A great way to help students see the process

Mrs. Jump's Class: Guided Reading 101 Part 1 - The key to successful Guided Reading groups is to stay organized. In my binder I have a spot for plans and then I have a tab for each student. Below are some of the forms I use to plan my groups.

The kids LOVE to read with pointers! Really helpful for those Littles who are beginning readers...they all LOVE pointers! I use a variety of pointers but their favorite are the finger lights that you see in the bottom picture. They go crazy over these! They are available on Amazon for less than $1.00 You can click on the image to check them out.

Pencil fidgets - They allow the student to have something to move around in their hands. Students that require such fidgets have a need for sensory stimulation, and fidgets provide that within the classroom setting. I know about 50 kids... and myself who would benefit from these.

The life cycle of a Monarch butterfly as told from the perspective of the butterfly. Appropriate for students in early elementary school.

Magnetic Towel Bar used on whiteboard for displaying anchor LOVE!

Fidget Rings~ Clever design, but do they click when pushed from one side to the next? Seems like it's still a prototype, but it looks cool!

"....When a student proudly brings me a card or drawing, I read it and tell them how wonderful they are, and then direct them to the Cards to Remember book. They add their card or drawing to the binder. I leave the binder on display so other students can look through it." - I MUST do this next year!!!
