We used 2 foot post spikes, but you could use deck blocks which are cheap. We made 8 X 4 panels with viny lattice that we stapled to the panel. Then used cheap brackets screwed to posts to slide the panels in.

Patio stones around the edge of the fence makes it hard to dig under. Great idea for the outside of chicken coops and garden fencing too. Would also keep weeds from growing up into the fence.

I think a shorter version of this would be great to either keep our dogs in one area of the back yard, or to provide a separate area for Madelyn and other kids to play. The entire yard is already entirely fenced in via chain link, but I think I need to take a divide and conquer approach!
