The trail along the dramatic rocky coastline, from Moss Cove to Gibson Beach is about 6 miles, but shorter walks are available. The trail to the Bird Island overlook is good for bird watching, Whaler’s Cove is popular with divers & the Devil’s Cauldron whirlpool bubbles & boils at high tide.

Vanalden Cave (Tarzana CA) You take Vanalden (just south of 101 by Tampa) take Vanalden south til it dead ends. Street parking. Trailhead marked. Simple hike - 2/5 difficulty. Holes in the top of the cave and cool wall carvings. The hike to the cave is short--roughly 30 minutes round trip. When you get to the split in the path, go left to the cave (right will lead to Mulholland Dr) There's a choice: go right for a more advanced, steep trail, left for beginners.
