Works great!!!!! Make frozen spinach cubes for Green smoothies. Buy HUGE bags of fresh spinach, yet make unused wilted spinach a thing of the past. It is as easy as blending the spinach and some water, putting the mix in ice cube trays and freezing. Once frozen store in a Ziplock bag and the green cubes take place of ice cubes for any smoothie recipe! Brilliant!

DIY Smoothie Packs! I made these today. Used big carton yogurt, purchased frozen strawberries and raspberries. I had my own frozen blueberries. Without factoring cost of freezer baggies (I could have used reusable containers. Next time) I made 8 packets for $1.47 ea. Yoplait freezer packs are on sale this week for $2.50. So it's a good savings, and there are no extra additives.
