Old Schoolhouses

I love old schoolhouses. My first book series is set in a town with a one-room schoolhouse with the teacher as the Heroine. It's becoming fun to find them during my travels and take pictures of them. One-Room Schoolhouses

I love the era of one-room schoolhouses, so my first series takes place in a one-room schoolhouse in the fictional town of Washton, CA. This board is full of pictures I've taken or found of both inside and outside one-room schoolhouses

One of the first schoolhouse photos I took, this is the Alamos Schoolhouse near Lake Skinner, CA. We were camping with cub scouts nearby.

Hart One Room School House by Cheryl Martin

This Hart one room school house was built in the 1860's and rests in Frankenmuth, Michigan. Outside and to the righthand side, you'll find an outhouse.
