Carved Green Bottle by David Royce...After blowing, it is carved on a lathe to reveal the layers of colors underneath. This process is different for every bottle as each wrap has a different thickness and color distribution. By carving to different depths, different colors are revealed. Each piece is then sandblasted and acid etched to give a final and permanent finish. The wrap placement and carving design will vary slightly from piece to piece.
