This would have saved my knuckles as a child, oh how I disliked to weed the sidewalks like these--Baking soda neutralizes the ph in the soil and nothing will grow there. I use baking soda in a 6" wide area around edges of my flower beds to keep the grass and weeds from growing. sprinkle onto the soil to cover lightly. twice a year - spring and fall.
Just bought these bulbs to plant this weekend. The kids call them truffula flowers:) Allium Gladiator" Large, ball-shaped purple flowerheads, 6-9 inches across with silver tips. Blooms early summer. Great as long-lasting cut flower. Height: 4-5 feet (Bulb) Omg, I want these in my garden!
