Dance from Deep Within

Different than any of my other books, this contemporary novel takes a peek at Muslim culture and contrasts it with both Christianity and typical secular America while still providing a great story with romance, humor, and even a touch of suspense. It's definitely the most substantial book I've ever written. I recommend it to anyone interested in this subject.

Dance
This is a dance I choreographed for three teens from my church years ago, but it fits the feel of Dance from Deep Within perfectly.
A favorite quote from Dance from Deep Within suggested by Kim Upperman about the definition of sin.
This image says it all. Thanks to my awesome editor for creating it!!!

Please See Me
Here is another video of a song I wrote about Muslim women. This story is probably more that of Layla's Saudi friend Fatima. Layla has lived a much more progressive life here in the states.
Layla, my veiled Muslim woman searching for the truth.
Allie, my ballerina who has been deeply wounded by her ex-fiance and her parents' legalistic church.
Rain, my bi-racial hippie chick of the post-modern persuasion.
This guy is great for Mo, Layla's love interest, although Mo doesn't have that much facial hair. I think this man is actually a prince from Bahrain.
