Harmony
I have completed the Golden Eagle carving and named the piece "Harmony". It was carved from a single piece of Redwood burl/root and retains all of the natural elements of the wood including cracks and natural voids. On the back side there is even a stone embedded in the wood that I left in place. It reminds me of the harmony that all life forms have on earth and of the importance of natural places, and especially wilderness, which must remain untouched and unaltered if we are to retain harmon
