Juniper Lime Glow. A low growing evergreen good for small places and adding color. Turns a coppery bronze in fall through winter. Will look awesome with a blue juniper or spruce. Add in some dwarf nandina firepower (no more than 3 ft tall and wide) that turns and stays red through winter and you'll have a beautiful, interesting all season evergreen garden.
Cleaning up the garden in the fall can be a bit confusing, especially when it comes to cutting back perennials. Should you leave them alone or cut them back as soon as they fade? The answer, of course, depends on the plant.
