Shindig Parties Bunco Freebie | PDF
Bunco - I loved playing bunco a few years back. Tried to get a group going again, but the gals didn't take it seriously enough. Anyone interested in this neck of the woods to get the gals going again?

I HAD TO TAKE SWIMMING IN MY SENIOR YEAR OF SCHOOL AND WE HAD TO WEAR SWIM CAPS JUST LIKE THIS. CAN YOU IMAGINE? AND, WAY BACK IN THOSE DAYS EVERY WOMAN HAD TO WEAR CAPS IN ANY PUBLIC POOL. OF COURSE, BACK THEN MEN ALWAYS HAD SHORT HAIR SO THEY DIDN'T HAVE TO WEAR SUCH A THING...

GOLF LESSONS - Now this was another dream I had as a young navy wife. Wanted to learn to play golf so Danny and I could share a sport together. But, don't take lessons when you are 7 month's pregnant. That swing will throw you to the ground in a hurry.
a sailboat sailing in the ocean with people on it's side and cliffs in the background
When Danny was stationed at the Naval Academy as an instructor, I became brave and took sailing lessons in a small sailboat hopefully to gain big dreams of becoming a good sailor. Well, way into many lessons I guess I did not hear "ready about" (I think that is the correct term) and the boom knocked me into the Severn River. And, that was that! I am scared to death of deep water. What was I thinking?
a camel walking in the middle of an empty desert area with several posts sticking out of it's sides
Got to find a camel
Camels in the Desert in Bahrain, of course...WHEN WE LIVED THERE IN THE EARLY 70'S WE WOULD TAKE THE CHILDREN TO THE CAMEL RACES. THE JOCKEYS WOULD SIT IN A CAMEL SADDLE AND THEY RACED IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION AS THEY DO IN THE HORSE RACES. FUN TO WATCH...
THIS IS SPOOKY BECAUSE THIS LOOKS LIKE THE VERY SPOT DANNY AND I WERE STANDING LOOKING DOWN AT THE WASHERS WHEN WE VISITED TEHRAN, IRAN IN THE EARLY 1970'S. TO THIS VERY DAY THERE IS STILL A LOT OF DUST FROM THE RIVER WATER IN THE RUG. U.S.Naval Academy, Annapolis. Maryland. THIS IS THE INSIDE OF THE CHAPEL WHERE DANNY AND I WERE MARRIED. THIS JUST SHOWS A SECTION OF THE AISLE AND IT WAS OVERWHELMING TO ME. THANK GOODNESS DADDY (BEBOP) WAS WITH ME.

boats are docked in the water near some buildings and other small houses on the shore
NEWPORT RI....WE LIVED HERE FOR 2 YEARS. DANNY ATTENTED THE WAR COLLEGE AFTER WE ARRIVED HOME FROM HIS TOUR OF DUTY IN MANAMA, BAHRAIN. A BEAUTIFUL CITY SEEMINGLY TUCKED AWAY FROM THE REST OF THE WORLD. WE ENJOYED ALL THE ENDLESS ACTIVITIES OF WATER SPORTS AND TOURING THE BEAUTIFUL MANSIONS. DEEP SNOW OF THE WINTER MONTHS KEPT US BUSY TEACHING OUR LITTLE ONES HOW TO SLED. DANNY WAS FROM THE DEEP SOUTH. CAN YOU IMAGINE? HE HAD AS MUCH FUN, IF NOT MORE, THAN THE CHILDREN...
